its no vtec but it is torqy and strong

good for putting a vtec head on.... with a y8 head bumps compression to 10.2:1 which would make great all motor setup...

y8 head will not bump the compression to that high. sorry for the truth.
    non vtec d15b is 9.2.1
    vtec d15b is 9.3.1
*jdm d15b vtec head is similar to z6 head, except the jdm head has a slightly larger cam ( same compression ) valve, sets, springs, all the same.
    * y8 has a slightly larger cam than z6 but not larger than jdm d15b. different valve/ sets/ spring
though, with the head closely similar, the only difference in compression by far is the head gasket. y8 has the thinnest head gasket ( 3 layer metal gasket )

to be honest, on 10.2.1 compression, the d series oem rods will have a tough time keeping its self from bending

if im not mistaken it comes down to the difference in the combustion chamber size and the piston that brings the compression up... thanks and lets just get this sold!
