is the flywheel machineable? since it looks like there are some hotspots on it and you wouldn't happen to know the min. Machining specs for the flywheel, in case I can machine it myself. .
Yes, the flywheel is machinable. There are several hot spots but there is very little distortion to the surface. I usually have my machine shop "resurface" them for a fresh clutch install and they take the absolute minimum. This flywheel was in my car when I bought it and the original owner said that he bought it new, I might possibly have a receipt for it that came with the car. The hotspots came from launching on slicks, the clutch that was in the car felt like it was at its limit in holding power. Any other questions I will be glad to answer.
