    A couple of things....

    1) Why would the short block be outside next to a water hose for a period of time?
    It would do more than damage the rings such as rust the deck of the block.

    2) That is not a Vortec "BOV", it is a bypass valve and will not work with a turbo setup.

    3) Will you please tity up the back of Forged? Someone's slacking......

    is that cluster for a CRX or EF?

    1a) Dont ask me, it was a friend of mines at the time. Indoors now.
    1b) Actually the head was on the block at the time. When I pulled it apart, I ran a hone through it and the cylinders cleaned up just well. Rings were just kinda rusty so I threw them away.
