Knockoff Mugen Twin Loop Review
First Impressions
- Shipment received within 7 days as promised by jacsha (seller)
- The entire muffler is made of stainless steel other then the inside of the muffler.
- Quality of the welds is superb compared to many of the performance mufflers in the market.
- The canister, piping and the tip design are almost identical to the original MTL.
Overall Review
Fit: The fit of the MTL replica is not perfect, but it is very good for a no name brand. The hangers were adjusted in order for the muffler tip to be centered within the cut out of the rear bumper, other then that the fit is very good.
Sound: The sound of the MTL replica is only slightly louder then the stock muffler. The sound is almost like stock at normal city driving and a low rumble tone at wide-open throttle and at hwy speeds.
Appearance: The appearance of the MTL replica is identical to the Genuine JDM MTL except for the missing Mugen logo/unit number plaque and the JASMA plaque welded at the bottom of the canister.
Performance: The low end had noticeably improved with the install of this MTL replica and the response is much quicker compared to the stock and N1 style mufflers.
