Alright what I have here is a B20 bottom end that has been BUILT. Block has 600 miles on it, and then was involved in an accident. Motor was built with 4-500whp, in mind, and has loose clearances on the piston to wall to handle the expansion involved with that much power. Don’t be confused by people who say B20 sleeves are weak- there not if built properly! Since it was only used for 600 miles, it was still being broken in, but it did dyno in at 310whp and 260torque on 8 pounds through a 60 trim t3t04e. Internals include:
1.B20 block (shortblocks go for roughly $400)
2.Micropolished crankshaft
3.ARP main studs $75
4.ACL Race bearings $100
5.ITR Oil pump $120
6.ERL block girdle $505
7.Eagle Rods $275
8.Supertech 84mm pistons $500 (9.1 I believe)
9.Blockguard $100
10.Moroso oil pan $200
To replicate this, you would pay roughly $400 for a stock shortblock, $350 in machine work having it cleaned, honed and decked, micropolished and the guard installed, plus another $1875 in parts for the build. Then comes the labor to have it assembled if you don’t do it yourself. Your looking at almost $3000 total to replicate this build.
The torque that a 2.0 gives you is crazy compared to a b16 or a GSR. Just think how much more torque a gsr has over a b16, or a lsvtec has over a gsr- imagine it with a 2.0!
I am pricing it at $1150. No trades, just cash please.
