    Default 97-01 Prelude VIS OEM Carbon Fiber Hood

    Hey all, i have my VIS carbon fiber OEM hood up for sale. This hood is pretty damn near mint, theres nothing wrong with it. The weave is good and it looks like new, there is no sun fading or anything you normally see with carbon hoods, because this hood has a UV coating on it, so it wont fade. I cant see anything wrong with the hood, there is like a tiny itty bitty nick on the front that will prob buff out, it wont even come up in a pic. Im asking $325 OBO, i really need the money right now, my car is leaking oil, so thats why its up for sale. This is an awesome hood with good fitment, and it looks brand new. I paid $550 for this hood a year ago, so it seems like a pretty good deal to me. Alot of people know me and my car, and i know im strait, so shoot me an offer. Thanks everyone!

    Dang, not a bad price, im still waiting for a response from a guy that I am trying to buy a VIS Invader hood from. Just a question, how hard is it to repair or fix a carbon fiber hood? He says "theres a few small cracks close to the lip". Is that a easy fix, thanks for your time.

    to be honest man i have no idea, just buy mine instead!

    I hope I dont start having leaking oil probs like that. You are like the 3rd person recently with a 5th gen to have probs like that. I have just had a steady small leak from the rear main seal? I think. Nothing bad though. Doesnt drip on the driveway or anything. Is kinda smeared up under the car though.

    If you get REALLY desperate and still cant find anyone to buy the hood lmk if you can go a good bit lower. I am slap broke right now, but the milano pink is starting to get to me. lol

    lol yeah i have a leak from the rear main in addition to the oil pan leak! my car loves oil haha! almost all 5th gens get the rear main leak around 85-90k, mine is at 87k right now

    Well mine is at 140k.....lol Yours a 5spd? I am wondering how lucky I am to still have a stock tranny. I am auto unfortunately seeing that I bought my car when I was 15 and my grandfather would not let me go on his insurance if it was a stick.

    wow my 5th is sc'd and I haven't had any problems with oil?! I only have 120kms though (around 74k)
