if i put these in my stock block b18b turbo would i need to run lower boost or could i use these wiht 8lbs and be safe?
well i mean these pistons are alomost flat-top(good flow) they should'nt be a problem as long as you get a good tune afterwards, and if u were to race another car lets say with stock LS on 8psi vs. u with LS w/ b16 pistons on 8 psi and both having same turbo, u would win, u would make more power than he is, and when your out of boost, it would'nt be that bad cuz at that point your running a all-motor LS with b16 pistons, its gonna be a win-win situation, that Stock LS on 8 psi would have to raise the boost to about 10-11psi to match your power, more compression(not alot) will require less psi to get to that desired horsepower......

if its a stock b17, with b17 crank, rods, stock head, than you'll see around somewhere between 10.5-11.0/1 comp. ratio..........

no vice versa, the GSR head will give you more compression than that of a B16 head, just keep the gsr head![]()
thanks i might do that, but i guess ill get a new int. manifold cause the gsr mani. is going to be a pain in the ass if i put it in my crx
