    why is the chip directly soldered to the board??.. that's how it looks like . . .

    the ecu was released by a shop of some sort, i think they were trying to protect their maps. it can easily be socketed like a stock ecu.

    As it sits, no, the maps are for an integra type-r.

    It can be socketed just like a stock ecu. I may just have it socketed rather than selling it if nobody wants it pretty soon
