Default FS: SOHC Vtec Head(EX Civic) - Y8 high comp. Machined head. - $225

Sort of got into a little accident with my car, and now I am deciding to get rid of it. So I am parting it out, and then probably selling it and getting me something else.

What you see I have a vtec sohc head from a ex 2000 civic with the vtec pressure switch, and has been machined at downtown lawrenceville. I have the receit to prove to you that it's been machined(valve job) and I have also adjusted the valves with intake being .20 clearance, and .25 exhaust clearance. Which is Hondas Original OEM principle. I will also add a Intake manifold and Fuel rail to the person that purchases it. With the throttle body, and vacuume lines. I will include some brand new out of the box spark plugs with this too. NGK's ofcourse, that is.

    $225

Okay, first of all when the head comes out of a shop usually the motherfuker that puts in the valves back in when he machines it does not give a **** about how tight or loose the valves are. That is why I reset them back to standard clearance.

I did some research and it says my compression was suppose to be set at 10.6 if I put this head on my a6 block.

Im sorry, the seats and guides were refurbished basically a valve job. Didn't have any oil burning in the past or anything, just felt like it was necessary for me to perform one in order to restore compression for my new setup. But I ran into some problems.
