    Default FS/FT:DOHC D ENGINE/D16A1 Longblock

Hey guys, I got a D16A1 DOHC ZC engine for sale. I have no idea on the mileage . It was pulled out of a running car supposedly. Reason why I'm selling this is because my friend bought this and didn't know it wouldn't work for his car. His car got switched to OBD1 and the engine is OBD0. The engine is a longblock complete with intake manifold and head and block minus dizzy and alternator which I might have a D series alternator somewhere that I might give away with the engine. The intake manfiold is almost complete..just missing the EACV, and if you really want one....I can get it. It also comes with the motor harness but the wires to the injectors are cut, ready for a dpfi to mpfi swap in a EF or CRX.

    Block Code:3320916

I'm asking 300 obo. Or looking to get trades for his car. He needs SI Cable Tranny, axles and mounts for an ef and a p28 ecu. Anybody got this stuff will be willing to work out a trade.

    Phone#:678 662 0920

    Now for pictures

PRICE CHANGE....$150 OBO!!!! Block is locked, but head is good. Will part out.

I'll let you know if we decide to. I don't know which one he'd rather do, mini-me or dohc ZC. I'm going mini-me so it don't matter.

I hope you realize that this motor will not bolt up to a 88-00 civic. The motor Will however bolt into a 84-87 civic/crx.

I should know. I've had 5 of these already.

As sol say's...you can do it but you have to modify some sensors or something and I'm too lazy to. He was going to tell me how to but I'm a lazy guy. Lol, but it will work so come pick it up...lmk cause I'm leaving Saturday to go somewhere and I'll have to arrange for you to meet with my friend if you want it.

LOL... Honda Newbs. The D16a1 ONLY came in 86-89 Integras, which bolt into any 84-87 Civic/CRX. It's is commonly mistaken for the DOHC ZC that will bolt into any Civic/crx 88-95. the difference to tell is obvisouly the block code. But if you get a ZC motor, you have to look at the moounts and the way the valve cover is. The "Brown Top" ZC has the holes for the valve cover in the middle of the cover, while the more common "Black Top" ZC has them more spaced out. I'll post some pics for you to tell..

BTW.. Good luck with your sale. Try 1gteg.org also

Edit.. Brown top ZC / D16a1

    Black Top ZC

I already got to possible buyers...But I know that it only came in the 86-89 Tegs, hmm well I mean mine doesn't come with mounts so just use the mounts that came with the car you're going to put it in and then it should bolt right up. Lol. Right?
