    I hope you realize that this motor will not bolt up to a 88-00 civic. The motor Will however bolt into a 84-87 civic/crx.

    I should know. I've had 5 of these already.



    ???????????????/ yes a zc will fit into an ef there was one in my car when i got it?

    Skinny? Don't be changing names on me!!!! Lol....You asid that same thing on your other screen name. But I don't see why they don't bolt up?? I mean yeah the mounts are different but mine doesn't have mounts on it anyways...Lol

    LOL... Honda Newbs. The D16a1 ONLY came in 86-89 Integras, which bolt into any 84-87 Civic/CRX. It's is commonly mistaken for the DOHC ZC that will bolt into any Civic/crx 88-95. the difference to tell is obvisouly the block code. But if you get a ZC motor, you have to look at the moounts and the way the valve cover is. The "Brown Top" ZC has the holes for the valve cover in the middle of the cover, while the more common "Black Top" ZC has them more spaced out. I'll post some pics for you to tell..

    I already got to possible buyers...But I know that it only came in the 86-89 Tegs, hmm well I mean mine doesn't come with mounts so just use the mounts that came with the car you're going to put it in and then it should bolt right up. Lol. Right?

    You can put your motor into a 88-95 but the motor will need to be motified to accept the newer cable/hydro trans.

    Really, thought you could just throw a tranny on there and it'd be cool. Hmm..learning something new everyday...
