Oh so they did put a diesel engine in?

Gawd I never realized how big it was because I never got an idea of scaling until seeing those guys stand next to it. Looks like someone took a car and basically just...blew it up in every dimension.

I think he should put something like a bullydog system on it. Just in the outside chance he may need to get away. I think an normal car could keep up but with that system on it he could dial up the horsepower and torque to move that huge tank.

The same reason anyone else would. Rolling down 3" would be much better than opening the door to talk to someone.
The car really probably doesnt go anywhere that it needs to exceed 60mph. The fuel mileage and the performance is to be expected from GM LOL. Should have put a Caterpiller engine in it or something. I wander how much it cost me for him to ride around in it?

Sorry guys, I dont think it's a diesel.

Look at the exhaust! No diesel has an exhaust stream like that. Unlike gas engines, diesels are on boost nearly all the time - and the smoke trail will not be so weak and just waft around right after coming out of the exhaust - even at idle. I think this beast probably has a conservatively tuned V8.

    You get ~14 out of a large V8 in a 5000lb truck.

Larger engine + 15000lbs + extended idling and atypical driving:
I would say 4mpg is more realistic.
