    R/T: .078
    60': 2.4
1/8: 8.6 @ ?? (Cant remember, and lost the slip sometime last night)
    1/4: 15.16 @ 88 LOL.

Couldn't get it to shift from 2-3 at WOT, so right after the 1/8th I let off and coasted through. Need to get a VSS, and my shift points reset to get an accurate time. With a decent 60' hoping for a high 12.

4L60E. Tried one pass manual, and one not. Didnt shift either time. Does fine driving normally, just not at WOT. Seems to be a common problem with them with the VSS goes.

Yeah there was only .04 difference between manually shifting it, and just pointing and shooting it. I got some good SBC parts if your interested PM me. Cam, intake, carb, etc.

    8.6 with a 2.4 60'?

    LOL.

You have mid 11 second car if it would hook.

    Really?

I had a 2.2 60', 8.5 1/8th, and my car is no "11 sec" car. Where exactly do you get all your numbers from?

If you cut that 2.2 down to a low 1.6 or 1.5 you've knocked off .6 in the 1/8th.

That alone gives you a 7.9, however when you cut that much off your 60 you can typically get even more off the 1/8th. So lets say with a 1.6 60' you cut a 7.8 - 7.9

7.8 in the 1/8th is roughly 11.8 - 12.0 in the 1/4th. Even lower with a good geared back halfing car.

My camaro did some 7.45 // 11.5-11.8 runs.

The math is easy to do.

My GTO ran some low 8.2's and ran 12.7 in the 1/4th.

Well, I have cut 1.8 60' times more than once. My car still wasn't in the 11's. Trapped over 112, still wasn't in the 11's. Ran at your favorite uber faster than anything else track, and still wasn't in the 11's. Bottomline? I don't have an 11 sec car any way you slice it, yet I've hit all the numbers your magic calculator says will net me an 11 sec pass.

Considering that I beat both your 60', 1/8th, and 1/4 times on the same exact track, on the exact same night, under the exact same conditions........does that now make me the king ding-a-ling launch master now then????? I mean since we're using magic calculators and stuff.

    Sigh.

112 mph is plenty to get into the 11's. It would be VERY high 11's, but if it hooked it'd be in the 11's.

Cut a 1.5 - 1.6 60', and then run 112 mph and your ass is in the 11's.

    A 1.8 isn't going to get you into the 11's with a 112 pass.

YOU don't have an 11 second car, because your **** doesn't hook.

    I got a 1.7 60ft with a 110 trap speed and got into the 11's

Whatever dude. Keep guessing and pulling numbers out of your a$$. I don't care.

My "sh!t" doesn't "hook", yet it "hooked" enough to beat YOUR super duper launch machine...by a lot.......what's that say for you?????

I'm so tired of arm chair QBs and all this talk about shoulda, woulda, coulda......:jerkit: It gets old. Especially since stock G8's were running same or better times than you were with your so called-stock machine. I also noticed that if the amount of people around you last night is an indication of the amount of friends you have IRL, then I understand your bitterness and boasting since it must be very lonely when off-line.

Stop talking all the smack already like you're some kind of racer. I was doing real racing in real American muscle cars and imports when you weren't even a tad pole in your old man's scrotum, yet you don't see me going around patting myself on the back like I'm the John Force of street racing. It gets old dude. REALLY old. After seeing your launching and racing prowess first hand myself right before you busted out a remarkable 13.9 and YOU got walked.....I wouldn't beat on my chest too damn hard. Where did you go after that? I was figuring you'd come back around to redeem that shattered ego of yours. What happened?

According to statistics, calculating collected data from past time slips and current records on a certain car - Thacker seems to be pretty accurate with this post. To some extent, why? Because unlike him, Jaime doesn't own a Camaro/GTO, so this theory is invalid since every car isn't going to perform the same. And just because one car traps 110 and hits an 11 sec pass doesn't necessarily mean another car will too. Common physics.

The physics come into play, mostly in how the car leaves the line.

Some cars just don't hook. A lexus isn't a "hooking" car. Never will be.

A lexus can't hook? Do you even think before you type? I can show you about two dozen examples of a Lexus "hooking".
