    what car that gets beat on doesn't have trouble at 200k? If it has trouble, i'll get a 1g bottom end and slap my 2g head on it. And actually, I have about 5 friends with 2gs and have no problems, all higher mileage. Their previous 2gs didnt crank walk either.

    I know of plenty of SR's that started knocking at "30k-60k" and a few D16s knock at 115kish, not to mention all the other hondas with bad rings.

    I have a friend with a GSX and a GST, the GST is his DD and his GSX is his modded car. THey both had crank walk and he never abused his GST, I'm pretty sure it was an auto. I'm not saying Honda's and Nissan's don't have problems, we're talking about DSM's particularly right now.

    dont like hondas or nissans only mitsu's and mazda's, and yes there is a stigma with my year car also(crank walk due to #4 thrust bearing failure), but my car is past the mileage where that wouldve shown up.
