I understand each point and correction you made, dude. And I do admit that I don't watch that much basketball anymore. My dislike (not hatred) for James is not for his obvious talents on the court. It's for his person. Not because he left Cleveland. It's how he left Cleveland.

I don't think he intentionally "bitch slapped" the city of Cleveland, but there's no doubt he knew the reaction he would get with his debacle. He knew how the city would react. He just didn't care. That's why he went ahead and did it. He's getting his (except for the ring) and that's all that matters. As disheartening as it would have been anyway, a classier and more respectable move would have been to just have the trade announced just as any other on the news/sports outlets.

lol @ this thread. First off people have hate for Miami for reasons they can't even explain, except for the just riding the bandwagon of other haters. Secondly, the only healthly Celtic is Rondo. who is still to me the most dominate point guard in the game. I didn't panic when they went down 2-1 to the pacers, because they can turn it on and off when needed. They will beat boston this series, but will have a harder time in the finals if Bosh isn't back.

i guess Jalen Rose wouldnt qualify as someone who knows basketball in your ****^^^***^^^^EXPERT^^^^***^^^^*** opinion either. He says the labels pg sg sf ect are so fans can keep up with the game and that teams like the heat redefine what positions are suppose to be. But yeah, i played basketball in highschool, have been playing park basketball ball all of my life, have been watching professional basketball since Dennis Rodman was a Spur. I watched every single one of Micheal Jordan's championships.

Yeah, Wade and Westbrook look completely different on the court......... Wade is a 2 Shooting Guard. He is not a PG , dont confuse him bringing the ball up or in transition with being a PG. Chalmers, Cole is the Heats official PG. Lebron is more of a PG than Wade IMO.

There is really 2 issues with your guys argument.

1) There is no traditional PG anymore because they game has gotten so fast paced the the coordination of the big guys is so much faster. Lebron defined the Point Forward position, 6'9'' 250??? That used to be a Small Forward/Power Forward. The only TRUE PGs left in the league are Nash and Parker and Rondo IMO.

2) There is no traditional CENTER in the league anymore.

So with no true PG or Centers,all you are left with is Shooting Guards and small forwards, which is pretty much what the game is right now

I see the floor as guards and forwards now, putting Wade on the list was more about forgetting Chalmers was on the floor. Wade can do anything with the ball in his hands though. Wade plays at the 1 position often.

The Bulls were 27-55 the year before they drafted Jordan. Jordan's Bulls were put out in the 1st round the first 3 trips to the playoffs. Jordan lost his first 2 trips to the finals. Great players win championships..... they dont "go somewhere they think they can win a championship".

Lebron's teams havnt won because of Lebron. As much of a stat machine as he is....... he is not a great player that steps up in big games. He's the fastest car in qualifying, he hits everything out of the park in batting practice, he kicks 70 yard field goals in warm ups.... but when the game is on the line he just doesnt have it. Luckily for him, he's now a supporting role on a team that does have someone who is a great player, Dwayne Wade.

Yes, Lebron has the right to do what's best for him, even when its the wrong thing to do and it's not the best thing for thousands of other people. No one is pissed at Lebron for him leaving Cleveland. IT WAS THE WAY HE LEFT CLEVELAND, it was the way he just sat there, smugly smiled and said "Im going to a better team".

It was the way he treated Dan Gilbert, it was the way he treated the city (that just happened to be his native state, i mean how often does that happen where an athlete gets drafted by a home town team??) , it was THE DECISION by publicizing it, etc. It was the 3 years of lead up where it was obvious he wade and bosh all conspired to make it happen.

Jordan never lost a finals, he won all 6 times he went................First time they went IIRC they beat the aging lakers. The only other modern day player to ever win every finals they were in was Duncan.

The league was different back then too so its hard to compare. The money wasnt as big, the shoe contracts, the TV money, the brand names, etc. Jordan had no reason to leave chicago, he was drafted in what 84? It took him 7 years to win a title. Jordan was also drafted by a major sports city/market. Lebron was drafted in 2003 out of HS (NOT COLLEGE like Jordan), and it took him 6-7 years to get to the finals with arguably the worst team ever haha That was a pretty big accomplishment.

Again i disagree. The 2007 Cavaliers was a hideous team that made it to the NBA Finals to lose to the DUN DUN DUN Spurs. Lebron beat a pretty weak eastern conference but still. He single handedly took that team to the Finals. He almost did it in 2008 again.

The problem with Lebron is the pressure he has of winning a title. Hes overplayed his hand , by talking about championship"S" (plural), like its no big deal. He has said he doesnt want to be the main scorer, he wants to be a magic johnson type of player.

Lebron doesnt have the closer Gene, he doesnt react well under pressure, something Jordan and Kobe did amazingly well their whole career

Mello didnt go to NY to play with Amare... he went to NY to go to NY. He RETURNED to NY, big difference from Lebron running away from his home town.

Is that really worth losing for a ring???? i can buy a NBA championship ring on ebay........ lots of bench warmers have rings.... a lot of people who didnt score a single point have rings...... is getting a ring worth selling out? Worth having your home town fans burn your jersey? worth having your billboards torn off the wall? Lebron pretended to he the home town hero when he's really only about himself... and that's fine.... but you cant be both. You cant be a hometown hero one day then expect people to be ok that you flipped the switch to being an arrogant douchebag sellout.

Lebron's teams havnt won because of Lebron. As much of a stat machine as he is....... he is not a great player that steps up in big games. He's the fastest car in qualifying, he hits everything out of the park in batting practice, he kicks 70 yard field goals in warm ups.... but when the game is on the line he just doesnt have it. Luckily for him, he's now a supporting role on a team that does have someone who is a great player, Dwayne Wade.

Yes, Lebron has the right to do what's best for him, even when its the wrong thing to do and it's not the best thing for thousands of other people. The same way myself and those thousands of other people have the right to think he's a classless arrogant douchebag who tucked tail and ran from a challenge, placing blame any and everywhere but where it belonged which is directly on Lebron himself.

Dude i see what your saying but that was back in the day. Teams have more than just one superstar, and no one Jorday in this day could take his team to beat a well teamed Heat w/ 3 or more Jordans on it eh. Heat, Lakers have so many superstars. Its not like back in the day yo trust me. Takes more than just one superstar to win the ring now.

Jordan beat a Jazz team with Karl Malone, John Stockton, Jeff Hornacek...... and a deep supporting cast, Shandon Anderson, Greg Ostertag, Byron Russell, Jacque Vaughn, Antione Carr. Malone is one of the best big men of all time, John Stockon is probably the best pure PG of all time..... they couldnt stop Jordan on either end of the floor.
