I was always taught when you put in applications and you don't hear from them, call them in a couple of days to just "check on the status of it." Some employers hold off on purpose to see if you actually want the job. When you call them, it shows them that you want to work there because you are contacting them multiple times and not just throwing around applications. Later, QD.
