definitely, ive been looking at struts and koni yellows are available at summit, 150 each... and i'm debating getting General Tire's Exclaim UHP, Cooper Tire's Zeon Sport A/S, or BFGoodrich's g-Force's....oh and 205/... is the widest i can safely go on a stock wheel.

215/45z/17's in the Cooper Zeons Sport A/S, i think that's my choice. Cooper's are made by Toyo.
But 225/45/17's are 105 each as well...hmmmm...
i've even read about ppl autox'n on stock wheels with 225's and greater, with no sidewall failure
