I will start LOL. I been working on a 1968 C10 truck. It has a 350. Been putting a timing chain on it. Wires and plugs. Finally got it running last night. After making 3 run to summit becuz of the wrong parts over the last 2 days. This time we ask for a manager. And we got the parts we need for no extra cost. A summit carry bag (really nice), 2 summit hats, and a $25 gift card. LOL. I need to complain more often LOL. But it running like a champ after adjusting the timing alittle. Now we are searching for a tranny
But from this. I found I love how my Olds engine are designed compared to the chevy engine. Alot easier to work on.

And I can get a 8.5 rearend from a 442 for about $800 with 3.73 and posi from factory. And I even have options of a cheaper route for more labor intense.But I just need something that can handle slicks and Big Block torque.
