I wouldn't know like I said, I've never been in a fight without any gear. Only sparring. And...all the fights i won..were based on my feet. I wasn't great at punching was alwayd worried someone would slip off my block and land on my mouth, but now, the face mak, have protection over them, so thats no longer a worry.
