    assuming it's super high-temp paint (which i honestly doubt) it would actually scrape off when the pads hit it, but keep the rest from rusting... yeah it looks silly but whatever, at least you can't see it.

    yea it looks like he wanted everything painted and when he hits his brakes about 2 time's, the yellow on the rotor surface will be gone and the rest will still be yellow. i have seen dumb ass's paint the calipers without taping anything up and that looks like shit but this will look ok after he hits his brakes.
