It was just one I found. Chattanooga is right up the street though homey. When you get a head you will still want to hot rod it for what you're gonna do (Headgames are one of the best at D16 heads).

LOL. What I am saying is, when you get the head, you are gonna wanna have it worked since you are boosting it. Even though the Y8 outflows the Z6 head, it still has shit for ports nah mean? HEADGAMES is the best shop that comes to MY mind when porting/polishing D series heads, but I guess DFE is gonna be the direction you take it considering who is working your project. You can hit www.randmcnally.com to see how far it is... and then subtract 30 - 40 minutes b/c Baby J will be driving you up there laying into the bottle at every opportunity. LOL

Not as easy to find as you think in the VTEC variety... ESPECIALLY separate from the block. Every non-vtec SOHC guy wants the VTEC head. And most of the guys who are getting rid of them wanna sell you the block too b/c they want more $$ for a B. JUMP ON ANY THAT YOU FIND. That's my advice. Y8 > Z6 if you're leaving it stock. If you are gonna hot-rod the head anyway though, then get the cheapest VTEC head you can find.

A d15b7 head won't work will it? Guessing not, but I don't know much about d-series. My brother has one laying in our garage that he wants like $100 for...
let me rephrase that...one of my best friends has a SOHC vtec at his shop that was taken out of my nieghbors totalled out civic. If you want it, I will get him to pull it cause the motor is just taking up space at the shop. Better?
