i can buy one from a national junkyard through my shop for $450 w/ a warranty that i care nothing about... im in ga, not cali, so im not sure how relivant those CL ads are going to do for me and only one of your links specifies that its a manual, most clearly say they are autos, but thanks anyways... i was hoping for one that maybe came from a b20 swap that was collecting dust somewheres...

no, but lets say the senario is much like i stated, you buy crv swap and leave the tranny for scrap, because who really wants its, nobody.... now someone come on ia and see's my wtb thread and says my buddy silversol has one thats just sitting in his shop doing nothing... you get to make some extra cash , clear out some space and i paypal them some money... you are doing nothing w/ it and we keep the money in the little mans pocket instead of some big corporation... am i out of line??? how does any other thread on ia work... i never see an ad that states "i would like to pay retail for a set of wheels that have no warranty if defective...." no, everyone wants a deal, you are dillusional if you can honestly say otherwise... but thanks for your observation...

Crv transmissions are not as common as civic integra transmissions, I had a shop and bought sold and parted out hondas. I have never had a good crv transmission auto or manual sitting around as "scrap" i never had them "siting around collecting dust" for more that 30 day. And I never had a issue getting what I wanted for them.

the awd manual transmissions are very hard to find. normand at minitec in royston ga buys almost everyone one in georgia for his awd minis he builds. but 450 is probably gonna be the best deal your gonna find unless you sit and wait for one to eventually come up. but good luck to a fellow crv owner

There was a guy on CL/Atlanta, in Douglasville, parting out an awd first gen CR-V a few weeks ago. It was wrecked and he was letting parts go cheap. I'm pretty sure it was a manual. I'll see if I can find any of his ads and send you a link.
