ANY MECHANIC WHO THINKS THEY COULD RESOLVE THIS PROB COME BY AND Give it your best try, it wont hurt me to spot out someone a few bucks for gas but I really would like to get this thing fixed before anything!! I think the car just needs a new inner fuse box but idk, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I put in a new swap and outta no where whenever I try to start the car, the cluster lights glitch like they begin to blink on and off swiftly. The harness inside the cabin and in the motor is perfect I just don't know what the hell is going on. It rarely has its moments where the cluster lights come on correctly that only happened like twice and even then the motor would just rotate but not start. It had the ignition coil cel code but I haven't changed it out because I can't even get the lights on the cluster from glitching any longer.

his car wont start ............ the lights just flicker every now and then......he wants the car to run .......
Let me go to Long Horn and order a steak and taste it, then I'll decied if I want to pay for it or not.
so your telling me that if you were in my situation and some random dude called. stating that he worked for honda, is ase certified blah blah blah and then he comes and has a look at the car. next thing you know, hes just gonna look over and say "idk man, this car just seems raggedy. i dont think i can fix it, looks like you just need a whole new harness. but i still want my money for coming way out here." notice i said EXPERIENCED if your not confident in your skills, then dont bother wasting my time or yours. because really i could give a shyt about 30 bucks for gas, but i wont let you make me look like an ass, or hand em over that easyily to some idiot who wouldve told me some bs that i wouldve already known! p.s. both engine and cabin harness's appear perfect. no exposed wires, mis-wired, fried, etc. you get the point right?

Where are you located? What swap did you do? what harnesses did you use? I guarantee I can fix it, I just am not coming to fix it for pennies.
The EMPIRE
i bought the car as just the body aka shell. its a 93 civic, so i put in a single cam swap( d16z6) the first time and everything seemed to be running perfectly about. not even one cel code on a stock p28. then, i turn around and drop in a b series vtec swap and out of no where when i try to crank the motor for the first time, the glitching effect takes place on the cluster as mentioned.
*i used the same obd1 vtec harness off my single cam and im still running the same p28 ecu as well. i didnt even mess with any wiring besides unplugging the engine harness from one motor and transfering it to the other one throughout all this. i dont consider my self a honda guru, but i know what im doing as far as anything basic like swaps, maintenance, etc. i just cant seem to figure this out. i already swapped ecu's and still nothing. Lol $150 will worth about an hours of diagnostic.
How much are yOu willing to pay to get it fix.
This is funny....
No one is gonna help u bro unless they just want to. Any person that is experienced is not gonna waste their time accommodating u to make 1.6 hours worth of labor. Im sure their are people that could help u and use the money but depending on where u stay they aint gonna drive out there. Usually u get the car towed to a shop u trust and they fix it. Not trying to bash u but u are better off just asking for the help. cause its making u look like "hey come help me, but only if u know your shit". "and even if u do know your shit I don't plan to pay if it aint fixed"

Like I said experienced personnel(s) ONLLLYYYY! I can't stress that one worded, meaningful, simple fact of a statement enough for you people to understand. I don't have a trailor, obviously this is one of my alternatives as in terms of fixing my car, that's why I created this post. In hopes of finding some help. As I can clearly see this is a waste of time. And why pay 400 plus when I can go to my local junk yard, invest 300 tops anld be about my business.

They you should go to the junk yard to buy you another junk part. Shop charge about $100 buck an hour to do the work. But in your case, you nor the experience car expert have yet to find the source of the problem. Ain't no blow Joe even gona waste he time to drive to you and fix it for that price.
Look, if you find out what wrong and buy the parts. I will come and tight the bolt for $150.
Get the car towed to a shop and hope they can find the problem for you. If not they still charge you their hourly rate.![]()
But serious check all your grounds and make sure everything is plugged up fine. That nothing is loosin connection.
its funny to me how ur so sure u can spend 200-300 at a junk yard and "be on your way" with it. if its that easy then y pay someone to go out there to tell u its the harness, then have to buy one in the end anyways, and pay him to install it? wen ur smart enough to do it ur self. from a technicians stand point this is a waste of time.
its even worse not knowing the condition os the car. it could end up lookin like a pile of shit with endless amounts of problems. theres no telling what kinda problems the shell had wen u bought it. $150 to chase my ass around looking for whats wrong with ur car is not worth it. tow it to a dealer or a shop and dont worry bout it have hope some one will fix it because its xmas and they feel like giving.
good luck tho. hope u get it fixed.
i dont know how many times i gotta tell you but its your grounds. check them all and be on your merry way.
i pray for some of you lmao!!!!

just check to see if the ground from the harness on the engine is grounded to the thermostat housing and if it is make sure its not broken, damaged ect. this is the main ground for ecu and everything.
LET ME GUESS... YOU MISSED A GEAR!
