Running SOHC

looking for an engine for my 94 civic ex sedan.

I need a single cam engine....preferably a obd1 sohc vtec. but ill take what i can get for a decent price.

really want to hear it run before i buy. i purchased one from some kid and his dad at (421 cottonpatch rd lawrenceville ga 30046) and it turned free and he said it had 130k on it and ran fine but now i got it in the car and guess what it knocks under acceleration. i have been dealing with hondas for 15 years and this is the first bad engine i got. i got it from craigslist so i think ill stick with ia because i have had good luck with you guys for years.


could also use a good set of front civic seats for a 94 sedan. mines light grey and in good shape other than the foam is split under the cover so its a little uncomfortable. if yours has good foam and torn or wrong color and they are real cheap then hit me up i may put in the work to swap covers.

got a d16y8 obd2 everything but engine harness 650$ can hear run!. also have 96-98 civic front seats lmk if interested 706-512-6681

got this LS motor sitting in my friends garage taking up space
just buy that and take one of the cams out .b18a1 engine
works fine

where you located am interested in the ls motor

dont think the ls will bolt up to a sohc tranny or i would get it and take a cam out. thanks anyway.
