I don't like it, but have you tried craigslist? I've seen a lot of JL stuff on there lately. If you find something I would just meter the subs and bench test them and everything first.

Hey yeah might be a dumb question but what are l7's? Sorry I dont know much about subs. I just really know the w7's but i am open minded. What size and how much are you selling them for?

i would say go with the w7, its a great choice. i just bought one and it is the best speaker i have ever bought so far. you have to come off of alittle of money but you'll get what you pay for.

yea i would def try to find a JL amp, with the 10 JL recommends the 500/1 but if your gonna get the 12 or the 13 they recommend the 1000/1 like i said earlier they are also pricey but you get what you pay for. and with the focals, great choice, ive heard good things about them as well. i am looking to get me some so maybe i could listen to yours to see if they are worth getting or keeping what i have right now.

Yea see the only thing is i know subs should be used like how they should be but the only thing is that i dont want to knock off the bolts to my car haha. My friend had a 13.5 in his 08 SI and now his dash board is comming off. But yeah definitely, when i get them im going to let you know the only problem i have right now is finding a dealer locally that sells them.

yea thats true, you dont have to have it knocking really hard. when or if you do get a JL amp, you can get a bass control knob and that will help out alot with sound control and sound quality. you can usually mount the knob up front near the radio and control it from there instead of having to adjust the amp. another reason why JL is the so good. which other amp have this too.

Oh man i just totally forgot about the control knob. I have been too caught up in finding a Focal dealer and trying to find the subs that i forgot about the little things haha. you think i should just get it anyways though?

you talking about the focals? if you got the money then heck yea, do it to it. but if you get a JL sub i would first get the JL amp then move on from there unless you come across an unbeatable deal.

Haha yeahh i mean since my brother already had a amp for me, I am probably going to try that amp out first. I mean i think it was an old competition Zapco amp so im not shure how thats going to work out. But nahh i was talking about the bass control. Focals haha i already have my eyes set on that just like the JL w7s lol

This is the same place i bought mine but i bought the 10 and it was a little cheaper than this. I'll also look around some more to see if i can find any cheaper, and I'm also looking for some focals. i think im gonna buy another box for mine and maybe a capacitor.
