    Default WTB: 90-93 Miata <$3000

Title says it all. I would prefer it have less than 175k miles, a decent top, manual transmission, and working heat & A/C. I don't care what color it is as long as it isn't green or yellow.

One of my guys here at the shop has a 92 with about 150K on it. New top, timing belt, water pump, clutch hydraulics, and a bunch of other stuff. Its also got the stock VLSD. He's wanting 3,500K for it with the new JIC FLT-A1 coilovers on it and a set of Sportmax 002's on it. He just picked up another 240 to build and wants to sell this to help pay for the build. I can PM you pics if you're interested, the interior is in great shape with a Pioneer CD player and newer speakers. He's pretty open on the pricing so I'd bet if you offered $3K he'd take it.

Ive got a good friend trying to sell one for about $2500. its a 1991 or 2 and runs great. The car only as like 75k miles but is only mechanically perfect. Drives very well!

Its pretty rare though as it has an automatic tranny; a downer for most, but like gold for people who wanted a miata who couldnt drive 5speed (Its a very Very rare combination!!). its still fun though and may be worth a look to you.

I would consider it if it were a manual, I've never owned an automatic car in my entire life.

I saw that thread too... it just has too many miles on it IMO and the A/C doesn't work. Thanks for trying to help me find one!

I've never driven another Miata that runs as well as mine, despite the mileage. It's never let me down. Runs like a top. Starts instantly every time.

True about the lack of AC though. It did work great at one time, but the allure of losing 50lbs off the front end was too much, so I removed it.

No problem, he's a cool guy and I figured it might help out two members at once.

It says it was deleted by it's author, but thanks for trying to help Kyle.

Straight6, I like your Miata but I kinda like having a clean slate to start with. Good luck with selling it though. I looked @ another Miata out in Covington tonight that I'm seriously interested in, I'm just trying to run a carfax on it to find out its history first.

I understand completely. Mine's a little on the raw side, but I like the purity of it. Gokart with doors.

    Good luck with the search!
