    Default WTB: old beetle ('60s)

looking to find an old VW beetle project. condition doesn't matter. Preferably with all body parts still available. If you or anyone you know has an old one sitting around, PM me. Gonna do a ratrod-style chop/drop project... kinda like this one.

1973 super beetle , new engine , factory tranny , body in pretty descent shape given the age , 3500 obo , looks like it has been sittin for a while , you could probably talk him down quite a bit , 770 380 4082 , it is located in Winder , it is a maroonish color! hope this helps!

i really don't want one in good condition. it's gonna get chopped and dropped anyway, so the car itself can be a piece of shit. here's the planned outcome:

but flat black with red wheels/whitewalls. hell i can't wait to start this project. it's gonna be bitchin!

Its a lot of work. I gave up on my '71 Beetle last week because there is a huge section of rust around/in the vent by the rear windows. Its so bad I wouldn't be able to repair the metal, I would have to cut out that part of the car and weld in a new section.

Anyways, keep an eye out for cars with bad pans. That is NOT easy to fix.
