Talking Just bought an 03 gti 1.8T need help please

Okay, so I'm new to the car scene and I just got an 03 gti but I want to add things to it to make it better (faster, nicer looking etc...) I just need some suggestions on what sorts of things I can add to this car. where can I look online to find accessories? what could I add on? Thanks again

All depends on what direction you want to go with it. What are your final plans for the car (track, show, etc)?

www.vwvortex.com is a good place to start.

i personally have used and recommend APR chip, K&N drop in air filter, a Techtonics Tuning downpipe and exhaust.

suspension wise go H&R or Koni...
You're right - I have no idea what I'm talking about...

I would stray away from the APR chip as they have a problem burning up frying ECU's. There are 20-30 people suing APR currently. Since it a readily available in the ATL area, REVO is what I'm going with.

APR and REVO are both good chips.. the difference is really only turbo powerband.

Vortex will just tell you to put RS' on it and lower it. Look at me :/:P but in all honestly, suspension will be a dramatic change for the vehicle; looks and performance wise.

I have my car chipped with APR and love it. I have not had any issues other then a coil go bad and diverter go bad.
