    Default 03 B6 Audi 1.8t CEL codes P0333 & P0299???

    anybody can help with this? I know the p0299 is a low boost code, how can i go about checking for a boost leak? Not sure about the other code, think i read something about a knock sensor??

    don't clear, you need to use a VAG scanner not a one at autozone

    to check for a boost leak - use soap and water in a spray bottle. spray all the tubes and intercooler down, and start the car. rev it slightly and look for bubbles.

    it may also be a bad diverter valve (blowoff valve) - located on the passenger front boost hose. or, it could be a vacuum line broken near or on the intake, or a broken PCV hose...

    the knock code may be related to the boost code. fix the boost first.
