    Default 1983 Mk1 Rabbit GTI - $3600

1983 Mk1 Rabbit GTI. 1.8 8V. 160,000 miles. Engine was swapped a couple years ago. I've had this car since 1996. It has been stored inside since 2000. The car runs & drives clean. New battery. Good dash - no cracks. Does have a crack in the windshield on passenger side. Reupholstered OEM Recaro seats. Good carpet. Momo steering wheel. Zender sideskirts. Aftermarket front lip. 15-inch Volkswagen BBS wheels. Neuspeed springs. Neuspeed upper/lower strut bar. Oil cooler. Would need/want fresh paint sooner or later... passenger 1/4 panel in primer, and rear side markers were shaved. Sunroof. No radio. No A/C. Could probably use a brake master or booster - brakes work ok, but there is some play in the pedal before they grab. Good, clean, loved, solid-body MK1. Hate to sell, but need to make room for new projects. Call/text/email anytime. 678.52l.3l9O [email protected] $3600 obo.

I hate myself for not seeing this earlier. It would have cost me my entire Christmas bonus... But I can't think of a better way to have spent it.

Well, other than the way I did.

    But still... Damn.
