FS/FT 1997 VW Jetta GLX VR6. $3600 OBO
For sale I have my 1997 VW Jetta GLX with the VR6 motor. This car is very clean as you will be able to see in the pictures, and has had a ton of recent maintenance done. The car does have 172k miles, but by being around it and driving it you would never know. I really like this car, but the wife doesn't and I have to keep her happy lol. All of the maintenance and things listed have less than 500 miles on them. All of the Electronics on the car work perfect, i.e. All 4 power windows, A/C, Heat, Sunroof, etc.. The interior is VERY clean with only a tear in the typical spot on the driver's bolster. The Exterior of the car is very clean as well. A couple small dings that could be popped out and a small piece of trim are the only things taking away.
Good:
-New Coilpack
-New NGK Spark Plugs
-New Ngk Copper Plug Wires
-New Alternator
-New Battery
-BRAND NEW Raceland Suspension (less than a tank of gas on em)
-Fresh Oil Change as of yesterday 10/04/2011 with Lucas treatment waiting on a new tank of gas.
-Muffler and piping had many holes so I straight piped it from the resonator back
-New CD Player with USB and AUX input.
Bad:
-Cracked Windshield
-Driver's Side Headlight has a chip and collects moisture
-Missing One foglight Glass
-Cruise Doesn't work (Go figure)
-Chains just started being a little noisy
-Muffler and piping had many holes so I straight piped it from the resonator back
-CEL on only for SAI
Overall this car has everything needed to be either a great start, or to be a very nice daily.
I am VERY open to trades of any kind as long as it has full interior. Would really like any MK1 other than a cabrio, Mk2 Golf, or a Mk3 golf or cabby with a 2.0.
