It's not as easy to launch an evo as it is a WRX or STi.... Either you bog the evo or you funk up the car w/ clutch smell, there is a very, very fine line

W/ the sti, you just rev it up past 6K and dump the fucker. Its' much more fun to launch the sti than it is the evo

Heh, the vid doesn't really prove anything just as everyone else said...
evo vs sti... theyre both great cars... nobody ever wins that argument LOL

I love how everyone talks trash on here back and forth from sti to evo and evo to sti but when i see an evo on the road they always wave .

That's because the people that own said cars, have enouch sense to know that you can't judge a car by it's cover. The STi is better at some things, the evo is better at some things. They are both great cars! When i had my WRX and just got the Evo, i was always at odds w/ what to drive b/c i liked them both so much. After some reasearch, im thinking about getting a 07, they make stupid power.

I set my evo's two step to 6000 and it's not bad, you just have to do a quick slip like you do w/ a RWD V8 instead of just dumping the clutch.

Just get one of the various tuners to add LC to your 03, it's pretty easy for them to do and it works great. I'd offer to do it myself but I've never flashed anyone's car but mine and I wouldn't want to fuck anything up on anyone's car but mine.

I'm at 350/350 on pump and I bog if I dump the clutch (on an evo). Gotta do a quick slip and then we're off as long as the stock clutch can take it.
