    Default The YoYo Community

Ya know, those things that just go up and down? Yeah. Well here you go!

Watcha think? Questions? Feel free to ask. I've been throwing for two years and know a thing or two about it. Yes, there is a huge community behind it.

Note: Not me in video, all credit goes to Zach Gormley. Nationals is a huge deal

lol i remember Yomega yoyos in middle school... I guess you folks would consider that cheating... The ones that came with the "bearing".

I find it hard to believe that the kid in the video got it to stay spinning for that long without a bearing.

I think that's the one I have. It's still at my moms, but it has replaceable bearings in it. I'll have to go pick it up

Yomega is still kinda sorta around. And Yeah, we use ball bearings. Mine are 8 ball, as the one he is using. He throws for CLYW.

    ^YoYo in the video.

The YoYo I primarily throw has a spin time of 3-5 minutes. These YoYo's are still a fairly new concept, the are unresponsive meaning you have do a bind for them to come back up. They are silicone response that kinda works like the brakes on your car.

    ^Better explanation on binds.

Surprisingly there is a huge community behind this, its just growing. And its one of the best communities because everyone helps each other out and shares the passion. I am about at a semipro level if I were to compete, I've been in it close to two years now.
