Alright, so some of you may remember an old IA member PURP, or GOT_PURP from back in the day. Well he has decided to once again pursue a his rap career after taking a hiatus to get his family started. But now he's back at it and I just wanted to share the first music video for his single "I Did That". I am one of two members of TENfold Films who produced the video, so it also benefits me a bit to share the vid. But, give it a look and hopefully you'll like his music and our video and share it up a bit. Thanks.

IA never fails to bring out the good constructive comments lol. I should add this is our first project together as TENfold. We had a total production budget of...$0 lol. This is kind of our test video. We will be getting into weddings and many other misc. video projects in the future. I know your comment loosely translates to "black guy making a generic white rapper joke" but...........

This guy would be a lot better if he took some pointers from Bubba Sparxx. He's trying way too hard to sound a certain way and it really sounds it. Quit trying to sound hardcore. If people wanted to listen to someone read lyrics in an angry voice, record labels would just go around recording guys in prison. This guy has a lot of country in his voice but is trying extremely hard to hide it, you're from georgia bra..... you cant hide it.

one thing...he dont sound like MGK, he's got more lyrical content than MGK and as long as he stays from bad boy, he has a better career outlook

Listened to the other songs. It's not bad, the guy has some talent, just needs tweaked/refined. Sounds a lot better in the spots where the country shows in the voice. If you're a southern rapper, sound like a southern rapper.

I'll give my honest criticism (not that anyone cars but oh well)

#1 - video editing looks great.. but it gets an excessively long intro violation. if i were just checking the vid on youtube id skip to the next vid after about 15 secs. needs to jump to the song pretty quick.
#2 - i dont mind the beat, i think its decent. the pronunciation is a bit run together in the rap. i really cant discern what he is saying a good bit of the time. may need the voice volume increased or just plain pronunciation.
#3 - take the outro out of the vid.
#4 - love the Tundra

Overall i'd say he's got a great start and look forward to seeing what purp drops in the future!
