    how do you figure?

the 2jz still had stock internals with just injectors and turbo. and was running 10lbs. vs 19lbs.

That big single turbo is flowing a lot more air at 10psi than the stock turbos at 19psi.

stock turbo's on the vg's are like t3/t4's spooling a hell of a lot faster than the single. and its pushing the same psi.

I don't get what your saying. That 2jz also had faster spooling twin turbos at 12psi when it was completely stock from the factory with ~300hp. Now it has a larger turbo at 10psi, was that a downgrade? lol

not saying it was a downgrade. the cg motor has twin TB's so its like a turbo for each side. so its like the vg is getting 10psi per side same as the 2jz has a single with 10psi. vg twinn 300 is rated at 300bhp stock. but in the vid it seems he's got a few basic bolt ons.

and i forget to mention in my first post the 2jz is running a ems as well. maybe a tune too. so the 2jz is probably laying down a bit more hp over the vg. so i say if the vg motor would've had a good tune(since we don't if its it on the factory map or not) it would be a better comparison.

so now that i kinda think of it, it kinda was a unfair race. lol. not so much as turbo wise just more of as power. if it was stock vs stock then maybe it would have been different.
