I personally have a turbo D EF. Ive had 3 different turbo setups on 3 engines in this car... i know the potential and i personally love the D. That being said, there just aren't that many 500+whp d-series around. Theres a ton in the 300-400whp, but the amount of guys holding 500+ are very rare.
Let me try to explain it some other way...I believe that there are fast CRXs, practically any car HAS the potential to be fast when modded. The video you put, the guy has probably shifted like 4 times and at the end of the 1/4 mile, he is probably in 5th since he has so much power.
The car in the original video didn't even shift once...get what I'm saying. The guy in the original video was probably in 4th at like 80mph, then topped out 4th at like 120 or whatever, then took that video and fast fowarded it....

Anyone who says this isn't fast forwarded is blind. Just listen to the camera car, it sounds like it is cruising at 80mph or so, but its moving at like 150 mph speed. Also look at the trees moving by so quickly...
Also look at the video from 0:13 to 0:16, the camera movements are too quick to be real....it's fast forwarded..
when your on a two lane hwy and your going that fast, trust me trees are going to be moving that fast, do this, when u can actually get to 100+, look at something far right, hundred feet away, and youll see if passing by slow, now look at a white dashed line on the floor and youll pass that shit quicker then those trees, the closer the faster, and those trees were 5 feet away

he could of been in 5th and just floored it, my friends eg6 gsr, doesnt need to be downshifted, but yea true, i know the red one was redlining lol...with those facts out, the video might be fake, but who knows

Touche.. but notice they are all track whores too, not CRXs making highway runs lol. Those cars have got tube fronts and aren't even street legal. The likelyhood of the crx in that vid making 500+whp is virtually none.

that crx is descent but i dnt think its 500 hp. to make that kinda power with the clarity of the audio where the fuck is the sound of the turbo spooling or wastegate opening? The 240 dnt even try, he just stays in the same gear.
again the crx is nice but not as fast as the vid makes it seem.

i like the car to the right side that is merging onto the highway. it must have 500 hp too, its moving about the same as the crx
This is true, I could save alot of money and make my EF 500whp by fast forwarding a vid instead of actually building a engine + turbo setup.. much cheaper and people still believe it!
