lol, not a chance in hell....the motor itself probably wouldnt fit sideways, let alone a stout enough transmission

My friends Buick Riviera 400 bigblock FWD begs to differ .....the motor doesnt necessarily have to be mounted sideways to work.....most FWD V8 cars (like Some Cadillacs/Oldsmobile/Buick) use a front pumpkin differential to run the car FWd and still mount the motor front to back like a normal V8

Thats not very recent. I remember seeing this in 2004 from one of the dudes on my Protege Forums. that was his Yellow P5 in the vid. They built the ZX3 from a Kit thats offered. Its got a full cobra rear suspension. pretty trick stuff

lol the owner of the yellow p5 was a girl, named karen. the focus is her husband/boyfriend's. there's another video of it doing donuts and at the strip with slicks, its a pretty badass car. i believe they sold it, they were asking 16,000 for it. i know this because she was a mod and posted regularly on protegeclub.com.

The Volkswagen Passat has the same layout...longitudinally mounted engine with FWD.

    That's why I was curious.

The stang motors in foci are old news now. My buddies dad has one of the first ones I ever heard about, it had an old school cobra 302 in it with a custom made engine cradle and all. I forget the company but they have a kit out now that makes everything BOLT ON. No cutting or welding required. The kit is like 5500 but doesn't include any of the hardware type stuff, IE engine tranny brakes etc.
