I like mustangs always have, I love the sound a ford block with single chambers make. But I'm floored by the fact you can leave the show room and drive the vett strait to the track either road course or drag strip. It's a pure bread race car. And as for vett owners being "hard headed" and "think their shit rules the world" It's becouse what else for under $100,000 will out run and look as nice as the vett? I think the way they act is because of money they may have not the car. I know a lot of vett owners who do not think their "shit don't stink" they are nice guys for the most part. I also know a few viper owners who are jerks. Also you have to take into consideration how many vipers vs. vetts you see on the road. I'm sure there are viper owners that act the same way you describe. And if we saw more of them I'd bet on more of them being asses.

See, that's the only problem with the Z06 for me, they are great on the track but horrible otherwise. I like how the video leaves out the part right after, where Clarkson specifically says "as something to live with everyday, I'd rather have bird flu."

There's no question about it being a great performer, but there's a reason it's only $70k, where as say the Ferrari is more expensive. The Ferrari can do the exact same thing, but with a beautiful body, gorgeous paint, an astounding interior, and just overall build quality in general.

2: it wont be comfortable ( or as easy to drive)
3: not as stable

4: this car was designed forra specific reason (mix of speed/reliability/stability/handling/comfort/style) and for the price is worth it.

the transmission problems were fixed in 04 mid way, i've never heard of a VQ motor blowing unless the idiot didnt replace his internals and ran too much PSI. the car cost me $22, for another $40 i could be running 10's and out track and out look a zo6 no problem. i dont know where you got all these retune crap, a built motor with APS or Greddy TT can run 650 hp run a 10 second 1/4 mile and be daily driven no problem.
