    Default FS: 1980 TE72 Corolla 1.8 w/ 12a swap

    Make: Toyota
    Model: Corolla
    Year: 1980
    Mods: rx-7 12a swapped corolla, rx7 5spd tranny, bridgeported 12a, holley 650cfm 4barrel carb, holley blue fuel pump with regulator, 3 msd blaster 2 coils (only 2 are on at the moment), magnecore 10mm wires, holley air cleaner, racing beat intake and header, not sure but some kind of exhaust, cd player & kicker component speakers
    Engine: does not run because the apex seal on the rear rotor went out so that needs to be replaced.
    VIN#:TE720003984

    Condition: speedometer works, lights work, interior= good carpet and front seats, rear seats could use some work and dash has some cracks.

    PRICE: Looking to trade for something that runs, could offer a little cash up with the car for something, doesnt have to be real nice or anything. Cash offer would be 1200 because i am really looking for a trade of some sort.

    Would you trade for an 87 Honda xr200 dirt bike? I know rotaries well. I have rebuilt them before. If not I will try to sale the dirt bike quickly. I WANT THIS CAR This should go to a big time rotary nut. Check my heart for valves and you will find none(rotary joke)

    how do u know its the rear seal if u dont know anything about them? Im interested in this car but albany is kinda far

    i know its the rear apex seal because i got a dude to help me figure it out with the sound of the motor with the rear 2 plugs out

    so far got a dude offering me a lil less than i asked for so when he calls me if he comes and picks it up then he gets it, i would trade for a fair running older car

    Just to let some people know when an apex seal goes it can cause damage to the engine. That being said it would not keep me from getting the car. Rotary engines are so easy to build. Parts for the 12a can be found pretty easily and for cheap.

    man, i need a new engine for my rx3 cause i dont like the idea of running my "spec" ITA engine that has a 5g build on it on autox, time trials and hill climbs.

    Anybody else notice that the upper radiator hose is busted open in the pic?

    So it overheated on the dyno and you kept running it and blew an apex seal?

    thats isn't a recent picture of the motor, i put new hoses on it when i got it, but i didn't get the chance to resize the pics last night if you want to see pictures of it right now go to www.xdrive.com then log in with an aol/aim username then use "n0pinitr0us" for the username and "turbo4door" for the password and you can see all 32 pics.

    if you over heat, its probly going to blow a coolant seal.

    but i want the motor, so someone buy the car sell me the motor, and ill get you a 12a you can see run.
