    Default FOR TRADE: 1997 Honda Civic Hatchback CX

    Looking to trade for a EG. I've always liked them, and thought i'd get a newer car, but I just like the look of em.

    Year: 1997
    Model: Civic Hatchback CX
    Mileage: 222,222
    Mileage per tank: AMAZING! Will update once current tank is run out.
    Vin: Available upon request
    Options: None other then A/C. As bone stock as you can get, and also the lightest of all 6th gen Civics, perfect for motor swaps.

    Good:
    - Working A/C blows ice cold
    - As stock as can get
    - Motor runs excellent, tranny is perfect. No scratches/grinds, nothing.
    - Honda dealership maintained... Previous owner was a female college student who commuted 500miles to school.
    - Interior is FLAWLESS. Not a tear/stain/scrub anywhere.
    - Every single thing on this car works perfectly

    Bad:
    - Rear bumper has a hole in it on right side... may fill and repaint
    - Small scratches and a few dents here and there... nothing serious.

    Don't have a price, just looking for a straight trade.

    Not interested in Integra's... although I wouldn't at all mind owning a GSR Just don't have the cash to throw ontop. Not interested in Civic coupes either, sorry. And before anyone throws it out, i'm definately NOT interested in any year/condition 240.

    I'd just like to trade for a super clean, 5th gen hatchback. If I can't come across anything, i'll just start modd'n this car and probably keep it for a very long time.

    No I mean it's sitting in my driveway right now with 1/4 of a tank gone and 140miles on the trip odometer.

    EDIT: I guess if anyone wants it and doesn't have an EG i'd consider an offer, but i'd much rather trade for a nice clean 5th gen hatch.

    i have a 1992 estoral blue civic si. it has a clean black interior and has never been in a wreck. did a compression test on it saturday for the hell of it. measures 170 across the board. cold ac. let me know if this is something you are looking for

    my EX does great til it gets to half a tank then just plummets. So you are getting ~44 MPG??(525 on 12 gallon tank) you must baby the hell out of it. i been paying $3 for gas lately so if $24 fills it up, youd be getting closer to 65MPG with those numbers......VERY doubtful

    Everybody knows these cars get great gas mileage is it realy that big of a deal how great.Me and a budy went to south carolina to pick up a h22 long block and got 38 miles to the gallon and we were in th gas running 90 the whole way.We were in a eg with the same motor so like i said great gas mileage. I drove the 93 si eg in the post above and it runs great ac blows cold great car.

    252plus hp and 34.5 miles to the gallon all motor. 12.2 at 111
