and as far as my comment bout people just buying and selling here, ALL of your posts are either you selling or trying to buy something without any kind of other imut to IA other than using us as your free autotrader.
Vote for ban? :)Quote:

is there anywhere on here stating that i can't just post in the cars for sale section or am i missing something. And also did you actually go see the car run hott or did you just read what the other guy posted that he thought it was doing what he thinks is running hot is actually just half way which is perfectly normal he also says he never actually let it run hot hot maybe 20 mins. max and if you read more the guy before him says he never had any over heating problems out of it either so unless you actually seen where it ran hot how can you say anything?
Someone find the thread!Quote:

heres the two last FS threads for anyone actually intrested
actually I think 3.5k is a pretty good deal for a N/A ZX overheating or not... I sold my N/A on here not to long ago for 4k, but mines was modded a little... from what I remember from the history of this car was that it was overheating but the owner that bought it ended up fixing it... but who knows whats going on with it now... either way, bump for a fellow ZX owner....
i will try and contribute more to the site instead of just the cars for sale thread its just i haven't really found anything on here that has interested me but i guess i can go look for things to talk about just to help make conversation and maybe meet new people thanks for all the tips
WHERE TO START?
1) It is the BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY to do a thourough check on the vehicle they are purchasing. If they take his word for it that it doesnt overheat, then thats the BUYERS fault, not the sellers. thats why its called BUYER BEWARE not SELLER BEWARE.
2) If the car overheated BEFORE, can anyone prove that it overheates NOW?
3) NA 300ZXs go for $3000-6000 depending on year an mileage, TT models can go for $7000-20000. Now, they are NIGHTMARES to work on, they have TONS or problems, shitty engines, cronic failures and i never understood the appeal of them. we just did a TT swap to a JDM engine, and it was a $2500 job, labor, timing belt, WP, new hoses. That didnt include the motor, thats how labor intensive it is.
4) Is it morally wrong for this guy t sell a car without divulging all the info, yes. But the word is out, and this is obviously a problem car hes trying to ditch.
5) IA is talking about moderating or changine the FS forum rules. But even if you make it 100posts before you can go in the FS forum, that will just promote whoring. it wont stop all of it, itll slow it down. but thats it. All we can do now is rely on the moderating team like Rut, Stretch, GATEG etc.

i know it is not overheating i drive it everyday but for some reason what i say doesn't matter even though i have the car and i am the one driving it
then thats fine, good luck on the sale
thanks
i wouldn't want to rip anyone off if it overheated or overheats at all i would never put it on a site trying to sell it as a good car if i was to post it i would have stated that it overheats and the price wouldn't be what it is i just figured since alot of people knew about the car i would put it back on here for sale because there was alot of people interested in it when it was posted on here supposably running hot but now that i got it on here with no overheating issues maybe they would feel more confortable about buying it knowing that it doesn't overheat but i guess i was wrong.
I am former Z car owner, I've bought and sold a few, and I can testify that your numbers are a little high. N/A Z cars with 100k+ are worth about $3-$6k, depending on conditions. TT cars will bring $5k-$10k depending on condition. The only way ANY Z car is going to get over the $10k mark, it will HAVE TO be a TT, be in MINT or near mint condition, and have a nice set of high quality mods, not just some cheezy Ebay bolt on stuff. Sure, you can find people asking stupid money for their Z cars in hopes of finding someone that is crazy enough to pay that much for it, but that doesnt mean that it will sell for that much. Anyone that knows the Z cars knows what they are worth and what they can get one for, depending on what it is.Quote:

I state mine from working at a shop and dealing with them for almost a year...and still do deal with them in a round about way.... you state yours from being a previous owner, thus...both being accurate.... sure the information varies... but this shit just doesnt seem right to me.Quote:

yeah, she did...sometimes even more than just being in front of the camera. Think Russell had her taking apart the salvage cars that came in...but still doesn't mean she had the love or knowledge of Z's that he or his employees did.Quote:

dunno, i rebuilt mine myself...the heat from the exhaust dryed out/melted/deteriorated the rubber mount that holds the shifter up...driving down the road one day mine broke and i had to drive around holding the shifter up otherwise if would drop down and bounce on top of the drive shaft :tongue:Quote:

lol, that can be done by the paint color...certain colors available only certain years, passenger airbag (optional though), spoiler was changed in '94, then of course no hamburger emblem in 1990...that's about all you need to know :tongue:Quote:

WELL I WOULD THINK IT WOULD BE THE ONLY CAR TO COME IN WITH GLITTERY RED PAINTED RIMS???
