    Default FS: 03 Honda CBR600RR

    Well i'm testing the waters right now to see if there is any interest in her, because i'm debating on picking up a new bike...


    2003 Honda CBR600RR

    Price: $5000 OBO

    Mileage: 16,###

    Title: Clean "Salvage" Title, the bike has been inspected by the state of GA and I am waiting for the new title back right now... The salvage title was issued to the previous owner when he wrecked it doing a wheelie, the only damage done was cosmetic. I have plenty of pics to show the damage that was done, and everything that I replaced when rebuilding the bike. There is nothing wrong with the bike, I have put over 6k on her since I owned her and not a single problem...


    Mods:

    Jardine RT-1 Slip on
    520 conversion with Vortex -1/+2 sprocket
    BMC "race" filter

    Fairly new set of Pilot Powers

    I believe thats just about it, except for a few little cosmetic things like removing all of the stickers, etc...



    For the people that think Honda's are slow, just a tid bit of information...

    And I am far from being a good rider, so if ya know how to ride then she'll roll on out... And she could use alot more mods, since shes basically stock...

    1/8th - 6.88 @ 106mph
    1/4 - 10.6 @ 127mph






    There is a slight crack on both side of the upper fairing( see below), from the tie dows I used when I had her in an enclosed trailor and I had to tie her down in a akward direction...

    R6 is the sex. damn yamaha has a advisory now that they only rev to 16 or 17 though..

    The whole 17,500 rev limiter scandal doesnt really take away from the bike, still makes killer power, factory slipper clutch, fly by wire throttle and some other lil goodies...

    yeah, ive ridden one. never an r1 but you wouldnt need an r1 if you had the r6. i dont think its a scandal, just think before they make the 17.5 claim, they should validate it. i think it was originally 18.5 or something....idk. i rode one in march and its quick. i never took it above 11k

    Oh yea, you know as much time/$$ Yamaha put into making that bike that they knew good and well how far the tachometer was off, but just wanted to use the 17.5K redline as a marketing shceme... Still an awesome bike though, and if I can move this one out I will have myself one...

    the thing i like about them is the weight distribution. i wanted a 600rr forever but it just feels heavier than the r6 although i think the r6 is actually more..not sure though but r6 just feels better riding

    16k miles and the bike has been salvaged by the insurance company??? well if thats how it is dude sorry but u can find a much better deal on a cbr 600 with less miles and one that has been owned dy a 35-40 year old and never wrecked. im sorry but 5.200 is way to high.

    exactly what i was saying honestly if i were you i would just keep it becuase the most you are gonna get out of it is around like 3-4 for it i know someone right now that would give you cash for it but it is gonna be somewhere in the price range i just listed too, the salvage title is what kills it, and i am not bashing your bike i actually think this bike is nice are hell to be a salvaged bike and i would buy it in a heartbeat but for no more than four, i mean shit man if i was gonna buy a bike for 5000 dollars i could get an R1 or something in biketrader. but yeah man if you are willing to go lower than 5 pm me cause i got someone with cash

    interested also but not for 5200. ive found track RR's for less with street plastics included and had more mods. for 5200 i could just save a little more and pay cash for a brand new 06 model.

    Hmmm, well lots of different things... Talon/Eclipse/Civics/240's/ it all just depends, but if ya got something shoot it my way and we might be able to work something out...
