TW/Looking for asking price/interest on 94 civic Ex

I bought this car in May or June of 02. Got the car painted that summer (not a maaco job). Got new speakers, sub, and amp (somewhat of a custom setup as it sits below the trunk floor) during that time too. I have added new tail lights, Apexi exhaust, and Injen Intake. Had a tune up around a year ago I think. The paint looks nice with a couple of scratches and chips, but its to be expected. Has around 160k miles. Tranny has less, can find out specifics if someone is interested. It is a 5 spd, has a sunroof. Interior is very clean for a 94.

I'm just looking to see how much people think I can get for this and see if I can find any interested buyers. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I looked at a car almost exact to this one. Only things different were had the politically correct factory ex hubcaps, factory tail lights and standard shifter.

The car had same mileage, looked as clean as that.

It was a 96 model. They wanted $3999 and needed a quick sale.

I think around $3k and you should be ok.

the problem with the car isn't the lights, its the fact you had it repainted that fucked you on the price. With an all over paint job that ship lowers the price of the car considerably. Most people who pay for an all over generally end up getting double fucked because they paid for the paint and now can't get shit for their car from people who are aware of the auto field. Next time before paint a fucking car get the bitch detailed by someone who knows what the hell they're doing. And if for any reason the paint is truely dead then take some before pictures to show why you got it repainted. I 'd say between 2000-2500 but put that thang in the auto trader and you should easily get 3000. Find some cheap alloys and it should make the sale a whole lot easier. Sorry for the length of this but hell you asked for advise.

I bought it almost 4 years ago. The paint was in pretty bad shape, especially the roof. I new I would be keeping the car for a while, didn't want to drive it with bad paint nor get a cheap job that would be chipping anytime soon. The job was somewhat expensive, but well worth it to me. I'm not asking for the next owner to pay the extra money I put into the paint. I appreciate your advice and honesty, and thanks for keeping personal attacks out. I have the stock hubcaps, as well as 18's.
