    1. Good luck.

    2. I dont think you find one for 500 that in any condition to try to beat on and get sideways

    3. You should instead save up another 700 bucks and buy my corolla, weld the rear diff, the go drift.

^^^all true. the only supra you might get for that cheap is a rust bucket, and ruts rolla would be sweet (it would be a first). Be original man and get the rolla.

Not Entirely True. While i was in Cali Staying with my dad for a few months i bought a 1982 Supra L-type for $500. It wasn't perfect, but it ran and drove great. Had high miles but you wouldn't have noticed while driving it. Great beginner drift car. However there getting harder to find for that cheap...

SO, Save up $700 more and buy RutRoe's Corolla. For real, best bang for the buck right there. And it already has Supra wheels!!

I have a 1979 Supra MK1 manual 5 speed with electronic fuel injection for sale. White with blue leather interior and sunroof. Inside looks great except wear on driver's seat; has tears on seat and front of back. Outside looks good except for right front quarterpanel and hood; this is due to bad paint job, so has rust from the weather getting past the paint. Has 168,000 miles, starts great and runs great cold. Once it warms up, however, car has air/fuel issue and car chokes off. The original power steering pump is still installed, but has leakage problem, so I disengaged. Car turns fine without, but just no power. I bought a replacement, but never installed, so it will go with the car. I have an old battery in the car to start it up, but you will need to tow the car to get it home. The engine is in excellent condition. We have a new baby, so I don't have the time to devote to keeping it up. I want this to go to a good home, it has been a great car. The price is $400, so e-mail me at [email protected], or call 404-405-5543. This is located in Marietta.

Good old school car or project. I would get it, but no room, too many projects.

He said supra... Oldschool celicas are NOT the same thing. From the firewall back... partially... but there is no way in hell you could fit ANY generation supra engine into a late 70s to early 80s celica without extensive modification. The celica on it's on however, although there arent a ton of parts available, is also a driftable car. Definetely underpowered. You can swap the subframe and a few other little parts between those celicas and supras.(suspension with slight modification)

They are rare you could def find an mk2(82-86) supra for around 500 bucks. I'd roadrace/autox/drift an mk2 supra in a second.

Supraforums is your best bet if you havent looked already.

    Later,
    Chris

Ummmm... as near as I can tell, the title of the thread says "Supra OR Celica"

    Yea.

And as cheap as 22R's or whatever they call the ancient engines that go in those cars are, 150 DELIVERED is a damn good deal. Especially w/ minimal rust.
