Default 1996 Ford Ranger bagged, shaved.......

once again this is my neighbors sons truck for sale. he bought it for his son a year ago but now his son has lost intrest in it and its just sitting. its in primer right now. he was going to paint if (pimp purple. thats was he called it) for his son for christmas but didnt cause he lost intrest in it.

    1996 Ford ranger
    130,xxx on body
    22,xxx on motor
    VIN: ask

    Outside:

    shaved doors and tailgate
    Primer
    4 inch (i believe) C notch
17 inch wheels (IDK what kind)
    billet grill
    clear corners
    carbon fiber euros
strobes lights in the headlight and grill

    Inside:

    custom purple fiberglass dash inserts.
theres a place for a PS2 already cut out.
    TV
    after market CD player
    aftermarket door speakers

this is just what i saw on the truck. he's suppose to have me a list of mods tomarrow. the compressor and tank are pretty small. it take alittle time for it to build up. it not far from a show truck IMHO. i would buy it but i just got my dakota. heres some pics i have of it right now.

mods please LMK of anything i missed before you delete this. Thanks

that price is way to steep. Unless he sells it to someone that knows nothing bout minitrucks. Tell him to expect around 4 grand or less. Cause thats what it looks like its worth.

i think someone had the front up on the truck and let the back all the way down and the rollpan hit the ground or something. either that or it wasnt installed all the way cause it is loose.

in all honesty, if the truck is body dropped, wether or not its chopped or stock floored doesnt matter, one thing needs to be said. body drops run around $1000 and inch, from someone who knows what the fuck theyre doing. there is a 4 link and step notches, not c-notches. the body drop alone, depending on how many inches it is, is worth at least $3000, at least. what size are the wheels? if the truck lays the rockers and everything in the body drop was done right, all cutting, welding, and relocation of things, with the air setup, wheels, body drop, interior, and shave work the truck is worth about $6000. low miles on the motor are also a plus as long as receipts are available to verify. i personally wouldnt buy it because its a ranger and its a standard cab, and im a little too big for a standard cab. but being that i am a mintrucker, i figured i would put my 2 cents worth in on the thread.

bump for a good deal on a minitruck, for a minitrucker, not a racer or ricer.

I dont believe the truck is b/d, and even if it was, that truck still would not be worth $8500, it is not even painted, you can find a decent truck that is bodydroped and shaved and painted for less than $8500

Good project truck but still has a ways to go before it is a "show truck". Personally I think $7500 is still too steep but good luck with it.

I would love to pick this truck up, but I have my own project truck right now. Where was the work done at? I know a guy that may be intersted

no offense to your friend if he did the work but the welds look like shit (from the pic) and the bridge is cheaply made with angle instead of box tubing like it should be

That is a sub par job that was done on the bridge, looks like it was done in someones back yard that read a magazine article.
