    hahaah one of my boy jus got a killer deal on a 99 type r $5000 and only thing wrong was a busted radiator...good luck finding 1 tho

    i believe only white type r was made in 97 and 98. and black and yellow type r was made in 2000 2001. also there was 2 different blacks. fbp and nbp.

    1997,1998,2000, and 2001....none in 1999.....positive.....

    I wasn't trying to burst your bublle or anything...I was just mentioning it.

    If you look at the title, it will clear it all up. Either its another model that has either type R stuff on it that's a 99, or its another year type r, or who knows what...

    1996 ITR was released in japan in championship white only
    1997-98 ITR was released in the U.S. in championship white only with the exception of the '97 having 4x114.3 wheels, '98 started the 5 lug and new front end and rear
    2000-2001 ITR came in Nighthawk Black Pearl and Phoenix Yellow only, there was not a flamenco black pearl for the ITRs, only for the GSRs.

    but good luck on finding one, I know there's a guy on here that has a NBP R but has some minor problems with it, if I can find his name I'll pm you with it

    all usdm Type R's are 5 lug.

    The jdm pre 97 had the 4x114.3

    I have a freind who owns a 1997 jdm type-r .....4x114.3.........nice car but what a pain in the ass to get registered took him 8 months but it's finally ready to roll....check www.turbovisions.com if you eant a real one....their cars are 100% legal for the states.......

    If seriously interested I may sell mine...2000 PY ITR, JDM front conv., Omni power coilovers, black 5zigen wheels w/ Azenis, Stock ITR motor, b16 tranny, Mugen wing, CF invader hood, 6 point roll bar....let me know, no motor in it right now, but can put the stock ITR motor in it...
