I looked what they were going for on "Cycle Trader" with that low of miles and thats what they were going for... its clean so good price...![]()
Alright, you can definately get a brand new 2005-06 one for 2500-3000, and seeing as how this is an 04 i'd give you up to $2000. 250 isnt alot of power.
^^^but it is a good looking bike.![]()
Ill take $2000 for it
whys it say 100 on the speedo? i thought scooters only go up to like 60?
yeah... ok That was real fuckin funny...:jerkit:

Why everyone dissing a great starter bike. It'll still stomp a majority of (stock) cars. If you want something to learn on, this is ideal. Im sure many of you know that an inexperienced rider would DIE on a 600+
And NO ive never owned one.
Bump for a great looking bike.

Hahahaha, some of the comments about this bike are funny! Let me clear a few things up...
First off, a Ninja 250 is the SLOWEST sportbike you can buy. It pushes about 35hp, and does 0-60mph in under 5 seconds (which will dust quite a few sports cars on the road). It is certainly a beginner bike, and only useful as a local commuter. The top speed is around 70-75mph and it has NO BUSINESS being on a highway.
My main problem with the 250 and its bigger brother, the EX500 is that kawasaki hasn't changed the body styling since the farking 80's. The bike is an '04, and yes, it is clean... but it looks even more dated than the DeLorean from Back to the Future.
That being said, the 250 is a decent starter bike. Personally, I prefer the Suzuki GS500... but to each their own
--EDIT--
I forgot to add... motorcycles don't depreciate like cars do. Cars steadily decrease in value as they age. Bikes depreciate quickly at first, but then bottom out around $2k-$3k depending on the displacement if they are in good mechanical condition. As far as I have been able to tell, this is mostly due to short supply.

Hey man i got a s10 xtreme
i am looking at trading
If yo wanna hit me up just post back
it's a clean biginner sportbike, but the price is little to high, you can get new one for $3000. Lets make it straight this bike will go about 100mph to 120mph (not 75mph). I curently own 2003 ninja 250 and i know what I'm talking about.
