Absolutely love this 1999 Saab 9-3 5spd 2.0L turbo 4 cyl. This was my first SAAB. Purchased car in Sept 2010 from 2nd owner after a blown headgasket. I removed the head and sent it to machine shop to have it cleaned and pressure tested. Put on new Head Gasket, Valve Cover gasket, Serpentine Belt, Thermostat and Head Bolts and been driving every since. Originally bought car with 118K miles and have put over 50K miles in 2 years(120 miles daily to work).

Car looks nice with good paint(Scratches here and there)
Blow out in late October on the interstate is the only scar. Fender was bowed out slightly from the blow out. Also lower rocker panel was cracked as well as side marker amber lens is gone.
Does not affect the driveability of car, just cosmetics.
Car is not perfect by no means but has been a joy to drive these last 2 years.

Hows the gas mileage?

Gas Mileage is extremely good. I live in Covington and work off of Windward. I normally average about 27-29 mpg on the highway so about 450 miles on a tank. Reminds me of my old 95 Civic coupe but more fun to drive. Actually the price has been lowered to be inline with the market so $2000
