    Default 89 Supra Turbo 5spd

Well, unfortunately because of my recent move to Florida plus my new job, I neither have the time, nor the space to bring my supra down here. I bought the car a little over a year ago and have put maybe 1000 miles on it. The guy I bought it from had a JDM engine swapped in and went ahead and did a Titan MHG in the process.

The car is in Birmingham, Alabama.

The car is an 89 Turbo 5spd hardtop, red in color with grey cloth interior(great shape) about 146k on the odometer. No ABS, No TEMS.

    The mods:

    Spearco FMIC
    Custom Hardpipes
    Greddy Type-S BOV
    Greddy Catch can
Duel guage pod in A pillar(Fits perfect)
Autometer boost and A/F guages in the A pillar.
    White face, indiglo guages.
    Apexi Turbo Timer
S3 Real Short shifter(Amazing short shifter, very tight and notchy, I love this thing.) with Trust Shift knob.

It has 5 spoke mustang GT wheels on it, 17x8. With nearly new tires on all of them(245's). I just recently replaced the brake master cylendar and the pads around 200 miles ago.

The car runs, drives and shifts great.

Ok, the only bad things are that it has a custom 3" elbow and about half a downpipe pointing straight down. But that is the extent of the exhaust lol. Needless to say, it's pretty loud. You could easily have a local exhaust shop weld a 3" mandrel bent system all the way back, or mate it to an aftermarket one for fairly cheap.

The other bad thing is the paint on the right front fender, hood, and bumper has bit the dust. It's oxodized pretty bad. The rest of the cars paint is fine. The last thing is the car has no A/C. The guy before me took it out.

The paint on the front is the only thing really wrong with the car. That being said, i'd like to get around $3000 for it. I will take pictures today and try and have them up as soon as possible.

Email me at [email protected] with any questions.

could a bigger person fit in it *not fat just really tall* lets say 6'5? or is it around the same room as a 300zx?

You should be able to fit. There are people on the supra boards at 6'5" or taller. Just remember, it is a sports car, it's meant to wrap around you. It's not gonna be like an economy car where the dash is far back.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's not a real Type-S.

Greddy just stopped production of them, and now some companies are producing half-assed knock-offs. That would be yours.

    Nice car though.

    :]

    G'luck on the sale.

    That's nice, but I didn't just buy it. It's a Greddy BOV.

I don't think that motor is a JDM engine. I think thats the regular 7M motor. The turbo versions in japan used the 1jz which is totally different.

Come on guys, don't post putting my car down unless you absolutely know what you're talking about. There were Japanese cars with 1jz's and 7mgte's.
