    168k
    2.2 Sohc Intercooled Turbo (mazda built motor for u ford haters)
    IHI VJ11 TUrbo
    New Tires
    A/C - P/S are still on it, (but the P/s Pump , and A/c COmpressor are both shot)
    Tranny rebuilt @100k
    MOtor was rebuilt @130k
    Pacesetter 2.5" catback
    Catco 2.5" catylic converter
    msd blaster pack
    H4 conversion
    Poyurethane bushings all around
    Electronic Adjustale Suspension (which does really work)
    Sony Cd player 6x9's in the back
    Clear Title - passes emisisons

    130hp/190tq @6lbs all stock

    Good:
    Car runs like its new... Boosts @ 7lbs. Turbo is in great condition doesnt burn oil at all, doesnt smoke at all. Paint is in good shape, has 2 bad spots on the hood. But it still shines everywhere else. the car is very very torquey, and it moves pretty quick. Interior is like new as well, the owner before me, did a little modification to the door panel speakers, and made a little fiberglass box for larger speakers...did a good job on it, but the carpet is slightly off color wise.

    Bad:
    Needs A/c compressor - P/s Pump
    I think the passenger side ball joint is worn, but not really a big issue..
    The exhaust manifold is missing 1 bolt, because the thread is stripped. I think it could be rethreaded, but i havent relaly put much effort into it.


    I bought it as a daily driver, about a month and a half ago. Froma guy in Ga, he was the 2nd owner of it and had it for 7 years. He took such good care of the car. IT hasnt given me any problems yet. But i really wanted a automatic as a daily, i figured i would huff it out with a 5spd, and since it was such a great deal...but i need a automatic as a 2nd car. I bought it for 800$, which was a hell of a deal. soo im just looking for the same 800$ for it.

    Only thing i did to it ,was the msd blaster coil - catco converter - h4 headlights-cone filter,a lso have a turbo timer/polished valve cover-intake manifold with it also just not installed.

    THe vj11 turbo has been up to 22psi by other probe guys, but its limit is really 18lbs safely. With a chipped ecu, that gets rid of the 12psi fuel cut, it will make some crazy Tq. @14psi many have dynoed with a 2 1/2 exh, @ 190hp-270lbs-tq. Really strong motor, and the fuel system will safely hold u well over 15lbs. The car is very very reliable, and will be a good daily, but im tired of drivign a 5spd all the time...i ened something normal to drive around. And i keep buying shit for it, and its slowly turining into another modified car..which i dont need.

    im up for a trade. soemthign reliable automatic...preferabbly 4door...relly lookin for automatic protege.. 800$ firm - or a trade. ill post the vin if its needed...

    Damn... if I had some money I'd definatly be interested in it... And dont have much to offer in trade, except my mirage... and it's manual lol. Looks to be a good deal tho.

    eh, whats the details on the mirage..? i had a hard time fitting into one once...but i think the seat was just broken..lol

    lol had a hard time fitting into it? maybe if your really tall I guess, I got no problem gettin' into mine. it's either a 96 or 97... really can't remember lol, think it's a 97. 150k miles, 5 speed, ummmm no power options (windows/locks)... has a damn good a/c but when you cut it on it takes like half the power (and thats not much) of the car lol. it's basically just a real putt putt gas milage car... supposedly it gets 40+mpg if you drive it "correctly" i usually average mid 30's.

    who cares about gas milage.... wheres the location of vehicle i got a v6 blazer for sale that ill trade you for it possibly. It has 31 inch tires and a spare set on stock rims also. flow masters and decent interior. you know its a red neck ride! lol

    the front door takes 5 1/2's i have some in there now.. but they wont go with the car.. b/c i snatched them out of my protege. the interrior is as clean as it looks..

    It normally gets about 22-25 mpg, but the way ive got the bpv setup the gas mileage went down a little. If i turn it back the bypass valve back to recirc the gas mileage goes up a little..

    i will be thinking about it.. So the power steering doesn't work, but it still steers and all right? i will have to think about it, i may need to get a dd to keep the thunderbird off the road... more turbo ford for me....

    yea it steers fine, just more effort... it even has a adjustment for the steering under the steering wheel, low - medium - hard for steerin effort, but i havent messed with it.

    car runs great!!!

    all it needs is 1 Exhaust manifold Bolt rethread, and a front passenger ball joint. I drive it to work almost everyday... trouble free... BUY!!

    BTW, i bought a new clutch master cylinder..which im puttin in tommorrow...gonna also try and rethread the exh manifold thread soemone buy it before i go do soemthing else to it..lol

    BUmp.

    Went to install The CLutch Master Cylinder, and i noticed that the clutch pedal jsut eneded to be readjusted to the correct height. So i did that and its firm as it can get. But i still ahve the clutch master cylinder for a later install.. Will go with car..
